Catastrophic Planning and Management Institute is an organization with specialized professional personnel and an Advisory Board which includes only experts who have had direct field experience. CP-MI provides pro- fessional expertise specifically relevant to input to the Federal Government for the following:
Review of Federal Policy relative to Disaster Preparedness, Response and Recovery
CP-MI was been closely involved in the evaluation and development of Catastrophic Plans of Federal agencies and Department of Defense with change recommendations.
CP-MI has provided personnel to varied Commands in structuring outcome expectationsfor National and other Disaster Response Exercises.
CP-MI reviews and evaluates processes and training which enhance catastrophic planning and management. Other CP-MI Federal projects include review of IT Security, Interoperable Communications for Disaster Response , Health IT Security and Medical Record security and assistance in reconciliation middleware; Internal Re- view Processes and software development; review of Emergency Alert Systems, evaluation of Exercise Hot-Wash procedures and After Action Reports.
To this end CP-MI offers a rigorous certification
review of processes which may uniquely facilitate response in a
superior methodology and so effect direct recommendation for integration
